Cincinnati Branch Visits Spring Grove Cemetery
On Thursday, October 6, the Cincinnati Branch of PGMS held a diagnostic walk-about at Spring Grove Cemetery. Spring Grove Cemetery is the second largest in the country! Approximately 35 people were in attendance, some as far as Louisville, to listen to Joe Boggs, Assistant Professor, OSU Extension, Hamilton County and the OSU Dept. of Entomology at The Ohio State University. Joe provided an excellent, educational and certainly enlightening look at the problems we are detecting in our landscapes. After the walk-about, attendees were given the opportunity to win door prizes and then treated to a fabulous dinner. A special “Thank you” to Joe Boggs for his time, effort and knowledge, PGMS board members and to Spring Grove Cemetery for being such a wonderful host.
