8:30 a.m. Bus departs Hotel for Bank of America Stadium
9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Tour of Bank of America Stadium: Head Groundskeeper Tom Vaughan will take attendees on a tour of the Carolina Panthers stadium and practice areas.
10:00 a.m. Bus Departs for University of North Carolina – Charlotte
10:45 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Michael Kirshman – Mecklenburg Parks & Recreation:
Research on the true values of nature preserves, including economic impacts of nature-based tourism, increase property values, environmental benefits, and the social/health benefits associated with these types of facilities and programs.
11:30 a.m. –  1:00 p.m. Lunch and time with Vendors
 1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. Fred Kapp – Green Industry Web Portal:
Looking for a tool to recruit and train employees? Fred Kapp will delve into the expertise that the Green Industry Web Portal brings to managers as a tool to train staff.
1:45 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Session with Vendors
 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Patrick Anderson – Rainbow Treecare Scientific Advancements:
Using growth regulators to manage pruning, improving appearance and the health of shrubs.

3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Tour University of North Carolina – Charlotte
This tour will start from the Student Union and continue around campus looking at many of the grounds areas. Our guide will show us some of the challenges they have had and we will see the solutions that were implemented in those areas, in addition to their equipment and vehicle fleet (including some electric vehicles).
 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Buses depart for Smith Turf for BBQ Dinner and Networking Reception

7:45 a.m. – Noon Buses departs Hotel and Tour of Bartlett Tree Research Facility: Home to an arboretum containing about 2,000 species of trees and plants, an education center, and a fully equipped laboratory, Bartlett Tree is able to evaluate plant samples, culture and identify disease-causing organisms, identify insects, and perform complete soil analysis services. Attendees will be broken into smaller groups for an enhanced interactive tour covering a range of topics including: preparing root balls for planting, insect, and tree inventories.

 Noon – 12:30 p.m. Buses depart for Metrolina Greenhouses
12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Lunch and Learn Education Session: John Swintosky – Landscape Architect with Louisville Metro Parks: Maintaining the historic integrity of a site while adapting to public demands is something that John Swintosky, a landscape architect with Louisville Metro Parks is well versed with.
 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.  Tour of Metrolina Facilities and Trial Gardens: Tour the largest single-site heated greenhouse in the US at 162 acres under roof. View their automation systems including internally designed machines from automatic plant transplanters to mechanical shipping belts.
 4:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Buses depart for hotel and conference wrap-up
