Georgia Branch Calendar of Events

July 14, 2017
8:00 a.m.
Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA
The second branch meeting of the year is quickly approaching. Dylan Gilbert will be hosting the group on the Georgia Institute of Technology campus, July 14th, starting at 8:00 a.m. (meet and greet). As a part of the branch meeting, he will be discussing how their campus utilizes secondary water sources for irrigation purposes- particularly through the use of cisterns. Jason Siulc with Calsense will also be giving a brief overview of their products and how they aid in irrigation efficiencies for the campus. The horticultural operations manager, Robert Paltz, will also go over the tree care program and recent arboretum certification. The group will then proceed to take a walking tour through campus that ultimately leads us to The Varsity for lunch (provided by the branch)! The branch meeting will begin at the Groseclose Building suite 402 (https://pe.gatech.edu/location/groseclose-building), 765 Ferst Drive, and will conclude by 12:00. There is a visitor parking lot (W03- Area 3 lot http://pts.gatech.edu/visitors#l3) adjacent to this building. Parking will need to be taken care of on your own but save your receipt if you would like for the branch to reimburse your cost (directions on submitting for reimbursement will be provided at the meeting). Parking rates are $1.50 per hour, so plan ahead. Please mark your calendar and RSVP as soon as you can as well. Feel free to contact Dylan Gilbert should you have any questions.
