The Historical Reynolda Village was once a Farm Community with beautiful river stone walls and buildings which still remain. Visitors and Wake Forest students can walk across Waterfall Trail to shop at the “Horticulturalist Cottage” or dine at the “Blacksmith Shoppe”. Visitors that drive in are always welcomed by the colorful annual displays of the “Hot Dog Bed” where the original “Post Office” once set. Linden Trees, Oakleaf Hydrangeas, and Beautyberry are an example of historic plantings still used as along with the addition of 18,000 square feet of seasonal color beds and over 70 annual and vegetable containers to help bring charm to the Village.
