In the fall, established stands of sugar maple trees display captivating hues of scarlet and gold. Students, staff and faculty enjoy conversations along walkways under canopies of mature locust trees and on benches near historical buildings distinguished by radiant climbing vines and landmark specimens of oak, pine and yew. Majestic conifers frame open spaces during the winter, 10,000 daffodils along with crab apple and pear trees lining roadways blossom brilliantly to herald in springtime until spectacular annuals and perennials in beds and planters across campus flourish to welcome student admission tours and visitors throughout the summer.
