Landscape Management Guidebook Series

The Professional Grounds Management Society® (PGMS®) is proud to announce the release of its Landscape Management Guidelines series, which was developed to provide the grounds management professional with quick reference tools for general landscape maintenance operations.

The first in the multi-part series to be released is the Maintenance Management Guidelines, which provides a compilation of maintenance practices collected from working professionals in the field to serve as a starting point for grounds managers to develop their own operating standards tailored to their individual institutions. Highlights of the Maintenance Management Guidelines include: Priority Designation for Maintenance, Grounds Management Best Practices, Shrub and Perennial Plant Bed Maintenance, Integrated Pest Management, Tree Care, and Safety Guidelines.

The Landscape Management Guidelines series will be FREE to all PGMS members, with non-members able to purchase for a nominal fee. To access your digital copy of Maintenance Management Guidelines, log into your member portal and select “Landscape Management Guidelines.”

Further series development topics are listed below. If you are interested in volunteering for the Book Taskforce to work on the development of future series, please email
