People, Leadership and Culture
Sessions cover a variety of important topics dealing with human interactions that affect grounds professionals at all levels.
Financial and Program Management
Sessions focus on fiscal and compliance information that enables managers along with their teams to manage financial and legal obligations.
Technical Management
Sessions cover a variety of emerging applied science and engineering topics pertinent to the living environment and surrounding infrastructure. Topics may include: Arboriculture, Seasonal Flower Displays, Green Roofs, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), Biological Diversity, Herbaceous Perennials, Ornamental Grasses and Ground Covers, Plant Identification, Turfgrass Management, Urban Forestry, Irrigation, Grading and Drainage, Storm Water Management, Paving and Hardscapes, Snow and Ice Management, Waste and Recycling Management and Woody Plant.
PGMS® School of Grounds Management Annual ConferenceThe Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS®) School of Grounds Management (SGM®) is designed to provide grounds managers with the hard-to-find opportunity to gain knowledge, ask questions, and network with their peers. These interactive programs feature education seminars on must-know topics as well as a pre-conference field trip and access to the Equip Expo. PGMS® School of Grounds Management Regional ConferenceThe Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS®) School of Grounds Management (SGM®) is designed to provide grounds managers with the hard-to-find opportunity to gain knowledge, ask questions, and network with their peers. These interactive programs feature education seminars on must-know topics as well as behind-the-scenes tours of area grounds management programs. PGMS® Virtual Webinars (Live)PGMS® is dedicated to providing our members with the relevant education they need to stay at the forefront of industry trends and grow both personally and professional. With six, 1 hour webinars a year, each webinar topic is based on one of our core competences. Those who are enrolled in the School of Grounds Management Certificate Program have the opportunity to earn up to 6 credits in its respective core competency by attending these live webinars. CGM® and CGT certified members are also granted 1 CEU per live webinar toward their recertification. |
